“America Through The Tempest”: Our History In The Bard’s Words

Banner for “America Through The Tempest.”
Scenic City Shakespeare

“What’s past is prologue.”

That line from William Shakespeare’s “The Tempest” also rings true for this year’s celebration of America 250.

Throughout October, Scenic City Shakespeare will present “The Tempest” - this Friday and Saturday, on Friday, October 16th and Saturday, October 17th and Friday, October 23rd.

And then, on Sunday, October 25th, it will present a special production: “America 250 Through The Tempest.”

All performances take place at Greenway Farm Park in Hixson.

I spoke with Emma Collins, co-founder of Scenic City Shakespeare - and Hunter Rodgers, a member of the ensemble and the writer of “America 250 Through The Tempest.”
