Hamilton County is now accepting public comments online about the proposed land-use exchange between McDonald Farm in Sale Creek and Enterprise South Nature Park here in Chattanooga.

The website for community feedback is yourhamiltoncounty.com.

When word of the proposal first became public, Melissa Ray and Hadrien Turner were among the residents in the Enterprise South area who were most concerned, so they - along with another couple, Nathan Griffin and Elspeth Haire - started a petition drive online and formed the group Save Enterprise South Nature Park.

Before Thanksgiving, I spoke with Melissa and Hadrien - along with Sunshine Loveless, executive director of SORBA Chattanooga, the local chapter for the nonprofit that supports mountain bike trails here in the Southeast.
