Richard Roark sees how places that he calls “cast off” or “left behind” can become landscapes where people and nature not only intersect - but also intertwine.
A landscape architect and an urban planner, Richard Roark is Chief Purpose Officer and Partner at OLIN Studio in Philadelphia.
This past October, he visited Chattanooga to give a talk at Barrelhouse Ballroom for CIVIQ, the speaker series from Chattanooga Design Studio - a talk presented with Thrive Regional Partnership during its Tri-State Summit.
On this episode of “Scenic Roots,” we bring you that talk - titled “Nature Remixed: Reimagining Community and Biodiversity.”
