On Friday, Collegedale hosts its celebration ahead of Independence Day.

The America 250 Faith & Family Celebration takes place from Noon to 9 PM at The Commons at 4950 Swinyar Dr.

Matthew Miller is the executive director of the East Tennessee Symphony Orchestra.
