Roadtrips To Remember: “Next Stop, Chattanooga!”

Summer is the season for road trips.

This summer, a history exhibit curated for the celebration of America 250 showcases Chattanooga as a destination for decades as the “Gateway of the South.”

The exhibit - “Next Stop, Chattanooga! Exploring Our Place on the Great American Roadtrip” - is now on display at the downtown Chattanooga Public Library through September.

Jessica Sedgwick, the exhibit curator, is Head Librarian of Local History & Genealogy at the Library.
