More than 350 listeners have donated to help keep public radio strong in Chattanooga. Now WUTC needs your support to reach the $126K goal by Friday night.
To our WUTC community,
We’re writing today with gratitude, and a bit of urgency.
Thanks to the generosity of more than 366 listeners, we’ve raised $101,046 during our Fall Pledge Drive. That’s more than 80% of the way to our goal of $126,000, the amount we need to replace the federal funding WUTC lost this year.
This outpouring of support has been incredible. Nearly a quarter of our donors this drive are giving for the very first time. Eleven percent have stepped up as new sustaining members — choosing to support WUTC every month. If you’re one of them, thank you.
If you haven’t donated yet, we hope you’ll join us now.
We have just two days left to close the gap.
This station exists because people like you believe in it and choose to support it. The shows you hear, the music you discover, the reporting that keeps you informed, it’s all made possible by listener support. And this year, it matters more than ever.
When funding was cut, we made the decision to turn to our community. And you’ve responded with generosity and heart. That’s what keeps WUTC independent, local, and rooted in Chattanooga, not owned by a company or driven by ads, but powered by the people who listen.
If you believe in what WUTC brings to your day, the clarity of NPR news, the joy of hearing a song you’ve never heard before, the voices of people in your community, this is the time to give back.
Every contribution matters. Whether it’s a one-time gift or the start of a monthly donation, you’re helping close the gap and securing the future of WUTC.
There are so many ways to give:
You can donate online, become a sustaining member, pick up something from our merch store, make a gift through your workplace or a donor-advised fund, or even donate a vehicle or property. See all the ways you can support WUTC here. However you choose to give, it makes a difference.
Together, we’ve come this far. With your help, we’ll finish strong.
Thank you for listening, for showing up, and for keeping WUTC strong.
