Wayne Yoshioka is an award-winning journalist who has worked in television, print and radio in Hawaiʻi. He also has been on both sides of politics as a state departmental appointee and political/government reporter. He covered Hurricane Iwa (1982) as a TV reporter; was the State Department of Defense/Civil Defense spokesperson for Hurricane Iniki (1992); and, commanded a public affairs detachment in Afghanistan (2006). He has a master's degree in Communication from the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa and is a decorated combat veteran (Legion of Merit, Bronze Star and 22 other commendation/service medals). Susanne Burnham was the Executive Producer of Start it Up from October of 2014 to August of 2015. She is a graduate of The Company Lab’s Accelerator. She is the Founder and CEO of Click Click Boom, a graduate of the University of Georgia and a U.S. Army Veteran (Desert Storm). She launched her career in the mobile tech industry in 2009, and in 2012 relocated to Chattanooga because of EPB’s fiber optic network and to participate in the City’s growth as a tech and startup hub.

Evie Stone is the Supervising Editor at Weekend Edition. She collaborates with show staff and newsroom colleagues to ensure that Weekend Edition covers essential news, tells human stories and occasionally makes the audience bark with laughter.

Gilman Halsted is the Criminal Justice reporter in Madison. He covers the courts and the prison system also writes and produces general assignment stories for the daily state newscasts.

Matt Trotter joined KWGS as a reporter in 2013. Before coming to Public Radio Tulsa, he was the investigative producer at KJRH. His freelance work has appeared in the Los Angeles Times and on MSNBC and CNN.
