The language of birds.

Forest bathing.

Wild ears for interpreting nature.

These are among the classes taught by Laura Marsh for an outdoor learning series - in partnership with The Chattery, Reflection Riding Arboretum and Nature Center here in Chattanooga, and the Chattanooga Audubon Society.

Laura, a field ornithologist and conservation biologist, is the founder of Nova Conservation.

Her first class in the series - on the language of birds - is this Saturday, starting at 9 AM, at Reflection Riding.

I spoke with Laura - along with Mark McKnight and Tish Gailmard of Reflection Riding.
