In our final concert of the season, we bring you a masterful presentation of musical richness from singers young and old.
In collaboration with the Heritage High School Chamber Choir, we are thrilled to be singing Elaine Hagenberg's Illuminare, along with a myriad of other selections to draw you in and rejoice in the incredible heritage that is song.
The making and performing of music is an art that has been passed down for hundreds of generations. By learning and studying it we become inheritors of a great gift, and it is for the joy of song that we desire to share its beauty with everyone.
Please come and join us as we wrap up a fantastic 40th year.

The Bandy Heritage Center, Creative Arts Guild, Prater’s Mill Foundation, DSC DerrellRoberts Library, DSC Appalachian Studies minor program, and Chattanooga Fiber ArtsGuild are proud to partner with Claire Davis to present a Spinning Wheel Workshop! Before textile mills became widespread throughout Northwest Georgia, families fromacross the region had to use spinning wheels to turn wool into yarn for the clothing andother textiles they used in their daily lives. Spinning was such an essential part of dailylife in Northwest Georgia that it became a vibrant and nostalgic symbol of hearth andhome. The spinning wheel workshop will provide students with the opportunity toparticipate in a literally homespun Northwest Georgia fiber arts tradition by gaininghands-on experience learning to spin yarn on a traditional spinning wheel.
This class is a morning session which will last two and a half hours total. Each studentwill be loaned a Kromski Prelude spinning wheel and shown how to spin merino woolinto yarn. All necessary equipment and supplies will be provided by the instructor. Thisclass is suitable for adults sixteen and up; students under eighteen must have anaccompanying adult present at all times. No prior fiber arts knowledge or experience isnecessary.

Come out and enjoy three Chattanooga local musicians sharing their songs and stories. Blake, Kimi, and Luke are all independent musicians that are passionate about their craft and look forward to sharing songs with friends and strangers.
Blake Worthington - Worthington has cultivated a sound that reflects his rich musical heritage. His ability to seamlessly weave together the storytelling elements of folk and bluegrass with high energy has set him apart in a crowded musical landscape.
Kimi Carter - Rooted in Southern soil and shaped by city light, Kimi's indie-folk sound hums with vulnerability.
Luke Gard - Luke's songs sonically merge indie-folk landscapes with thoughtful Americana-style instrumentation. Weighty lyrics combined with beautiful, melancholic melodies.
